N-Button Pro/Lite latest version supports Robot Electronics devices. Now, you can create buttons shown on your desktop to control ETH008 Ethernet relay board without any programming.
Step 1: Plug in 12vdc power and connect Ethernet for ETH008 Ethernet relay board. Set up the ETH008 Ethernet relay board according to ETHoo8 Technical Document.
Step 2: Download N-Button Pro , install and run it to show N-Button Pro Manager.
Step 3: Click Devices Manager on N-Button Pro Manager to add a device. Select Robot Electronics for Manufacturer, ETH008 for Device Type, and Network TCP/IP Client for connection interface. Get IP Address and Listen Port when you setup your ETH008 board according to ETHoo8 Technical Document.
Step 4: Click “Relay Button” on N-Button Pro Manager to open “Properties – Relay Button” panel. Select Device, Action, Relay ID and Style for the Relay Button, which will Turn on Relay 1.
Step 5: Add another Relay Button to Turn Off Relay 1.
Step 6: Click OK on N-Button Pro Manager, you will see the buttons float on the left up corner of your desktop. It’s the default location. Click the button to Turn ON or OFF Relay 1 of ETH008 Ethernet relay board.
Right click the button to show the pop-up menu.
- Click Properties to show the Properties – Relay Button panel.
- Check Resize to allow button size changed.
- Check Move to allow move the button alone.
- Click N-Button Pro Manager to show N-Button Pro Manager panel.
- Check Hide All Widgets to hide the buttons. Right-click N-Button icon on Windows status bar to uncheck it.
- Check Move All to allow move all the other buttons together when move this button.
More buttons can be added to control different relay channel/ID separately. You also can create a button to Turn ON/OFF all relay channels.
Select different built-in button style or add your favorite button images to N-Button Gallery.
Now, just by few clicks, you will create your own control panel for ETH008 Ethernet relay board without any programming.
