N-Button Lite/Pro supports Automation A/D input rule, which allows you to control relays or other devices automatically according to A/D input rule. It also supports Send Email action, which allows you to send Email or text message. With both features, Email/text message could be sent automatically according to A/D input of relay board.
Here is the example for how to send Email according to A/D input rule automatically.
Task: Send Email when AD1 input is above 128,
1. Download and install N-Button Pro or N-Button Lite.
2. Connect A/D input relay board with your computer.(Get the board from National Control Devices)
3. Run N-Button Pro/Lite to show N-Button Pro/Lite Manager
4. Add the connected A/D input relay board Devices Manager.
5. Add an A/D Meter to show on your desktop. It will show the A/D input value.
6. Chang A/D input value manually, the A/D Meter widget should change and point out the input value. That indicated the relay board is connected correctly.
7. Open N-Button Pro/Lite Manager again. Click Automation to add an A/D Input Rule.
8. Select the A/D Input relay board and the Range. Set Send Email Action when Input is Above the Range.
9. After finishing all above settings, you will receive text message once the A/D input value is above 128.
The example above shows to send text message to Verizon cell phone with Gmail account. You can set any Email account information to send to your cell phone or any other Email address.
Note:
Gmail can not be used in N-Button, since Google no longer supports the third-party access since June 2022. You can use other email.
