N-Button Pro/Lite supports Group Customized Button widget. It allows to set several buttons/actions together, do different action for each button-click.
Here will show you how to use Group Customized Button to control relays.
Task: Control two 4-channel relay boards together with two Group Customized Buttons. One group button to turn on relay 1 to relay 4 of both relay boards in order after each button-click, another group button to turn off relay 1 to relay 4 of both relay boards in order after each button-click.
Step 1: Install N-Button Pro/Lite, and connect relay board with your computer.
Step 2: Add two relay boards to Devices Manager.
Step 3: Click Group Customized Button to add 4 Customized Buttons separately for Turn on relay 1 to relay 4.
It’s better to select different style for each Customized Button. Set two actions for the each Customized button to turn on relay 1 to 4 on both relay boards.
Step 4: Same as above, click Group Customized Button to add 4 Customized Buttons separately for Turn off relay 1 to relay 4.
Step 5: After all above setting, it seems you have only two buttons shows on your desktop. Green Button 1 and Red Button 1.
Actually, they are two group of buttons. Green button 1,2, 3, 4 and Red Button 1, 2, 3, 4.
- Click Green Button 1 will turn on relay 1 on both relay boards, and Green Button 2 will show on top of Green Button 1.
- Click Green Button 2 will turn on relay 2 on both relay boards, and Green Button 3 will show on top of Green Button 2.
- Click Green Button 3 will turn on relay 3 on both relay boards, and Green Button 4 will show on top of Green Button 3.
- Click Green Button 4 will turn on relay 4 on both relay boards, and Green Button 1 will show on top of Green Button 4 again.
The Red Buttons act as same as Green Buttons, but it will turn off relays.
According to above setting rules, you may create your own Group Customized Button to control your relays or other devices.
